NPS® LIGHT Beam

The composite steel truss and concrete NPS® LIGHT Beam is fire-resistant in accordance with Eurocode 2-2 regulations. It is suitable for designs with prestressed slab ceilings in so far as taking advantage of its timber shutter works, as it does not require additional formwork.

The metal structure, made entirely of structural steel pursuant to Standard UNI EN 10025-2, with EN 1090-1 CE marking, is formed by one or more truss composed of:
• upper chord, formed by at least one pair of profiles;
• lower chord, formed by at least one pair of profiles;
• connection web, simple or double, soldered to the upper and lower chords;
• lower connection batten plates.
