Tecnostrutture designed, supplied and erected, for the medical school of the prestigious Queen Mary University of London, the entire structure in just four months, and it consists of PDTI® columns, NPS® BASIC beams and Airfloor™ floors. The 8,100 square metre building has five floors above ground, including the roof.
It is an innovative work that is part of the hospital complex in Victoria, the capital of the island of Gozo, as part of the larger project to build a university campus under the management of the Barts of London and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry.

The logistical organisation of the work was a critical element to manage from the outset.
This was caused mainly by the location of the construction site on the smaller island of the Republic of Malta, which was positioned in the centre of the Mediterranean Sea, about 100 kilometres away from the nearest Italian port from which it is not directly connected, but only via the main island.
